Things change. And in business, things change quickly. That’s why it’s important to Refresh your Lean Strategy on a regular basis.
We recommend refreshing at least once per quarter, though more frequent updates may be necessary for your organization and your industry. A well run Refresh effort should take no more than half the time of the original discovery.
Refresh Activities
A Refresh involves many of the steps that occurred during Discovery and Planning, but abbreviated. Instead of capturing everything anew, a Refresh updates the reviews progress since the last planning session, updates prior research, identifies what’s new and updates the strategic needs and actions for the upcoming quarter.
